Apple is now accepting Worldfile* film packages. "Worldfile" is an extension to the standard iTunes film format. It provides multiple audio or subtitle streams that can be switched by the end user, similar to the functionality on a DVD or Blu-ray disc.
Worldfile Features Include:
  • Up to two additional audio streams may be provided on top of the default, for a total of three.
  • Alternate audio streams in English, French or Spanish.
  • Up to 12 iTunes Time Title streams (ITT) may be provided.
  • Accepted ITT languages are limited to English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Lebanese.
*Note that at the time of this writing, Worldfile packages will NOT have 5.1 surround available.
